EUROLEAGUE FINAL FOUR FAN ZONE 3X3 COMPETITION RULES
1. Games will be played in the half basketball courts installed in the Fan Zone.
2. Each participant team shall consist of no more than 4 players (3 players on the court and 1 substitute). A player may not be registered in more than one team in the same category.
3. Each participant team shall appoint a representative. For U18 and U16 categories the representative will be the legal guardian of one of the participants and will be legally responsible for the team.
4. The regular playing time shall be 10 minutes without stopping the clock (under any circumstance). In the last minute of the game, the clock shall be stopped during dead ball situations and free throws. Under justified circumstances, referees may stop the clock, i.e. time-outs, incidents...
5. The first possession and the tie-break situations described in point 7 below, shall be determined by a coin flip.
6. Every shot from behind the arc shall be awarded 2 points. Any other shot shall be awarded 1 point.
7. At the end of the regular playing time, the winner of the game will be the first team to score 21 points or with the highest score. If the score is tied at the end of the regular playing time, the 3 players on the court from each team will take a free throw, the team with the highest score wins the game. If the tie remains, the substitute players from each team will shoot from the free throw until a miss*.
* If team A player miss and team B player score, team B wins;
* If team A player score, team B player miss, team A wins.
8. A team shall lose the game by forfeit if at the scheduled starting time of the game the team is not present on the playing court with 3 players ready to play.
9. After every change of possession, defensive rebound or steal, the player holding the ball must cross the arc before scoring. If a team score without dribbling or passing the ball to a teammate behind the arc, the basket will be added to the opposing team's scoreboard and the possession would be for the same team. A player is considered to be behind the arc when neither of his/her feet is inside or on the arc line.
10. Following each successful field goal (including free throw) the ball changes possession and a player from the non-scoring team shall resume the game by passing from behind the half-court line.
11. Possession of the ball given to either team following any dead ball situation shall resume by passing the ball from the sideline or the end line.
12. In the event of a jump ball situation, the possession of the ball is for the defending team and the game shall be resumed by passing the ball from behind the half-court line.
13. Both teams are entitled to request a substitution when the ball is out of the court, in a change possession or prior to a free throw.
14. Each team shall be granted 1 time-out of 30 seconds. All players can request a time-out when the ball becomes dead.
15. Games shall be managed by 1 referee and 1 score official.
16. Each team may make a maximum of 12 fouls.
a. From the 1st to the 6th foul, the possession shall change to the team of the player receiving the foul.
b. From the 6th to the 11th foul:
i. as a general rule the player receiving the foul shall be awarded with 1 free throw;
ii. if the foul is committed on a player in the act of shooting, that player shall be awarded a number of free throws as follows:
o if the shot released form the field goal area is successful, the goal shall count and, in addition, 1 free throw;
o In the shot released from inside the arc is unsuccessful, 1 free throw; and
o If the shot released from behind the arc is unsuccessful, 2 free throws.
17. Technical and unsportsmanlike will be penalized with a free throw and possession of the ball to the team on which the foul was committed. A Players shall be disqualified for the reminder of the game when he/she is charged 2 unsportsmanlike/technical fouls.
18. If someone of the organization observes an unsportsmanlike behaviour in one or more persons of a team, influencing the logical development of the game, they may be disqualified from the competition.
U18 and U16 categories
It is mandatory that the parents or legal guardians of the participants complete, sign and submit to the Organizer on the day of the Event, the Authorization that you can acces HERE. No participant of this categories will be allowed to participate in the Event without presenting a valid Authorization.
Additionally, the Organizer will send all the terms and conditions of the Tournament, waiver of liability and privacy notice to the representative of the Team to disclose such information with the parents of legal guardians of the participants.

PRIVACY NOTICE
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA?
All personal data submitted (hereinafter, the “Data”) to us through the use of the Tradable Bits Platform for your participation in the Euroleague Final 4 FanZone 3x3 (hereinafter, the “Event”) will be included in a database property of Euroleague Ventures SA, with address at 60 Grand Rue, L-1660 Luxembourg, and managed by Tradable Bits and Euroleague Entertainment and Services SLU (hereinafter, “EV”, “TB” and “EES” respectively).

For the purposes of the processing of your Data in connection to the Event, EV is the data controller and EES and TB are the data processors (where data controller and data processors have the meaning as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/678 (hereinafter, the “GDPR”).
WHAT TYPE OF DATA DOES EV PROCESS?
EV process the Data necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned below, which are:
· First and last name;
· Date of birth;
· Email; and
· Phone;
You are solely responsible for the information you provide, and you represent and warrant that the information is true and that you are fully authorized to submit it. Likewise, you represent and warrant that by submitting this Data you are not violating any privacy or other rights of any person.
WITH WHAT PURPOSE DOES EV PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The purposes of the processing will be to:
1. Manage your relationship with the EV: which includes i) managing your access and participation to all activities related to the Event, ii) the delivery of the official merchandise of the Event, and iii) contact you via email should there is any significant change in the Event;
2. Diffusion of the Event: given the particularities of the Event your image may be recorded and diffused with informative purposes; and
WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING?
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is:
1. With respect to the management of your relationship with EV: the processing of your Data linked to that purpose is i) necessary to comply with a legal relationship between you and EV (Art. 6.1b GDPR), ii) your consent (Art. 6.1a GDPR) and iii) EV’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1f GDPR);
2. With reference to the diffusion of the Event: Organizer’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1f GDPR).
HOW LONG DOES ORGANIZER KEEP YOUR DATA?
Your Data will only be processed for as long as it is necessary, useful and relevant to fulfil the purposes we collected it for.
Upon termination of the Event, your Data will be stored and properly blocked to the only effects of fulfilling the legal or contractual obligations that are of application and during the time strictly necessary for this purpose.
Any personal data, image or voice obtained from the recording of the Event will be stored for as long as the journalistic interest remains and, in any case, for EV’s own newspaper library.
WHO WILL RECEIVE YOUR DATA?
We may share your personal data with public organizations, judges, courts and, in general, competent authorities when we have the legal obligation to provide them and to some third-party services providers (which may be based outside the European Economic Area) as a consequence of the provision of services.
Please note that we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your Data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the European Economic Area and under the GDPR. EV follows strict criteria of selection of service providers in order to comply with their obligations in terms of data protection and undertakes to sign with them the corresponding data processing contracts and/or if required, the standard contractual clauses, through which they will impose, among others, the following obligations: apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, use the personal data for the agreed purposes and acting only on the documented instructions of EV.
Euroleague Basketball has contracted the provision of services to a third-party provider located in Canada, a country that does not belong to the European Economic Area but ensure a level of protection equivalent to the GDPR, as it has been confirmed by the Commission Decision of 20 December 2001 pursuant to Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the adequate protection of personal data provided by the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (notified under document number C(2001) 4539).
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?
You can exercise, at any time, under the terms established by law, your rights of access, rectification or deletion of data, as well as request restrictions on the processing of your personal data, oppose its processing or request the portability of your data, by sending a postal communication to the address indicated above or by writing an e-mail to [email protected]
In any case, you can file a complaint before the National Commission for Data Protection from the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and/or before any other competent data protection authority.
I CONFIRM THAT ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM HAVE EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED ME TO SUBMIT THIS APPLICATION AND I HAVE INFORMED THEM OF THE CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN.
U18 AND U16 REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM THAT THE LEGAL GUARDIANS OF THE PLAYERS OF THE TEAM, HAVE AUTHORIZED HIM/HER TO ACT AS REPRESENTATIVE OF THEIR CHILDREN AND I HAVE INFORMED THEM OF THE CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN AND EXPRESSLY RELEASE EUROLEAGUE VENTURES S.A.
Waiver of Liability
PARTICIPANTS WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I, as representative of the Team, hereby acknowledge that all members of the team have voluntarily applied to participate in the Euroleague Final 4 FanZone 3x3 Tournament (the “Event”), organized by Euroleague Ventures S.A., (the “Organizer”).
I CONFIRM THAT ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM ARE VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGER INVOLVED AND AGREE (INCLUDING ALL U18 AND U16 LEGAL GUARDIANS AUTHORIZING ME) TO ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER THOSE RISKS ARE KNOWN OR UNKNOWN.
As consideration for being permitted by the Organizer to participate in these activities and use the Event premises and facilities, WE forever release the Organizer, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that WE, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) my participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not WE are then participating in the activities. WE also agree that WE, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT (AND INFORMED ALL PLAYERS OF THE TEAM AND IF APPLICABLE THEIR LEGAL GUARDIANDS) AND WE ALL FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. WE ARE AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN OURSELVES AND THE ORGANIZER.
I verify that the dangers of the activities and the significance of this Release and Waiver were explained to the Participants (including their legal guardians) and that the Participants (and their legal guardians) understood them.
PARTICIPANTS IMAGE AND AUDIO RECORDING
All participants of the Event (and when applicable their legal guardians) understand and accept that given the particularities of the Event and their international impact of the same, their image and voice may be recorded. By participating and attending the Event, all participants (and when applicable their legal guardians) acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed or taped by Euroleague Ventures SA and its affiliates (including but not limited to Euroleague Properties SA) and/or any third parties appointed thereby, which shall have the right, for the maximum term permitted under applicable laws to use, broadcast, and publish and license only for commercial or promotional purposes, without any requirement for payment of money or other form of consideration, the participants’ voice, image and likeness by means of live or recorded video and/or audio display, broadcast or other transmission or recording, photographs or any other current and/or future media technologies.
With reference to the treatment of U18 and U16 participants image and/or audio, I acknowledge and accept that, in the event that any third party, to whom Euroleague Ventures SA has delivered the content referred to herein, in which the image of the minor appears, for its disclosure and/or public communication, violates the terms of this authorization, it will be liable for all types of compensation, sanctions and expenses arising from possible claims that may be made by the signatory due to negligence and/or misuse, which may violate the integrity, dignity, honor and image of the minor. Therefore, I hereby exempt Euroleague Ventures SA from any liability for any type of use that may be made by a third party, contrary to or different from the terms set out in this section.
